The AIT (Adaptex) was originally developed through a European Union project (under article 6 Innovation Measures) which ran from 2005 to 2007 and known as the “Adaptability Index Tool” ( AIT). The project was intended to develop indicators of adaptability which “lead to organisational growth and underpin employment” and researched, developed and tested the AIT instrument as a diagnostic and developmental process for European companies.
The partnership developing and delivering the AIT (Adaptex) was led by Exemplas ( click here for the link) in England and included organisations in Greece, Italy, Germany, Ireland and Lithuania. Nearly one thousand respondents participated in the use of the AIT (Adaptex) in this pilot period from:
